In March 1997, while installing seatbelts into their 1950 Buick, husband and wife Dana and Melanie Harvey had the idea of making Melanie a matching handbag. Everyone loved hers so much that they decided to make more Seatbelt Bags.

They started making Harveys Seatbelt Bags in their one car garage in California but quickly outgrew it. Since then they have expanded to a 12,000 foot design studio in Santa Ana, California where every Harvey's Seatbelt Bag is lovingly built in the USA to exact specifications.

Every Harveys Seatbelt Bag is produced from superior quality, using the finest and most durable materials available. Never satisfied with the status quo, the Harvey's are constantly adding new colors and styles to their lineup of Harvey's Seatbelt Bags.
